With great sadness, we announce the discontinuation of Redken Outshine 01. After years of providing outstanding shine and strength to our customers’ hair, Redken has decided to no longer manufacture this popular product.
Customers were disappointed to hear this news, as many have found success using Outshine 01 in the past. The revolutionary formula contained natural ingredients such as jojoba, berry seed oil, and sunflower seed oil which worked together to reduce frizz while strengthening hair and promoting a healthy shine. Not only did it provide nourishing hydration but it also kept locks in place all day long without weighing them down like some traditional products can do.
Outshine 01 worked equally well on both color-treated and uncolored locks while protecting hair from environmental damage. For those seeking an even more intense level of sleekness, Redken released its Shine Spray in 2016 – a product closely related to Outshine 01 that was designed specifically for people with coarse or thick hair who needed added control over their look.
It’s understandable why so many people have been saddened by the departure of Redken’s Outshine 01 – not only was it a fantastic product for creating smooth looks quickly and easily but it had become something of a staple within the beauty community at large.
While we are still unsure why exactly Redken has decided to discontinue such an amazing product, we can only hope that they will carry on its legacy with other similar items in the future.
In the meantime, existing fans of Outshine 01 are encouraged to use up any remaining bottles they may own in order to preserve their hairstyling routine before seeking out an alternative solution.

All things considered, the discontinuation of Outshine 01 comes as a significant blow for those who relied on this incredible product every day – but one we must accept nonetheless.
