Temperatures below 32 degrees Fahrenheit at atmospheric pressure are when pure water freezes. If the bottle of Dasani was sealed and under high pressure, this could have been a factor. The freezing point of water can be significantly lowered by the presence of salt and other minerals in the water.

Why does purified water not freeze?
