Step 1 Unplug your Proform 5.25i treadmill if it is plugged in. Make sure you know how to plug it back in correctly later so that it doesn’t damage your device or cause an electrical fire.
Step 2 Open the top cover on the console by lifting up on the handle located on the right side of the control panel and pulling forward until it unlocks from its lock position. Pull off the top cover completely after removing four screws from its underside using a Phillips screwdriver.
Step 3 Locate the power cord for your Proform 5.25i treadmill and unplug it from its outlet using a Phillips screwdriver if necessary (this step is optional). Remove four screws from inside the console using a Phillips screwdriver to remove two plastic panels that are covering two speaker holes on either side of the control panel
