Swiffer Wet Jet Batteries

The batteries that you need for your Swiffer wet jet are 4 AA batteries. Also, get alkaline batteries when you decide to purchase them.

‎1.‎ Remove the cleaner at first. To change batteries, you will need to remove the Swiffer cleaner so that you can reach the ‎battery compartment. To do this, you will need to hold the Wet Jet upside down and also underneath the button that is ‎between the Swiffer pole and cleaner. Once you pull down, the bottle of the cleaner should pop ‎out. ‎

‎2.‎ The next thing for you to do is to remove the battery tab. In the battery compartment, you’ll see a finger notch ‎with the battery tab. Pull down the notch by inserting your finger within the opening to slide the ‎battery cover right off.‎

‎3.‎ After that, change the batteries. To complete this step, remove the older batteries from the battery ‎compartment and replace them with new ones. The battery compartment would have indicated ‎the right direction of the batteries, make sure that you have followed these indications. ‎Putting the batteries the wrong way won’t damage your Swiffer Wet Jet, however, it’s not going to work at all.

‎4.‎ After you change the Swiffer Wet Jet batteries, go ahead and reassemble the mop. You can do this by putting back the battery cover, and also inserting the ‎liquid cleaner. Also, to test the Swiffer, you will have to push the button that is on the pole to release the cleaner. If doing that doesn’t ‎release any liquid, then you can open back up the battery compartment to ensure that you inserted the batteries correctly. ‎
