It’s a sad day in the cleaning aisle – Clorox recently announced that their beloved ‘Scrub Singles’ has been discontinued. The product was one of the most popular items used to tackle tough household cleaning jobs with ease and convenience, having gained a cult-like status among users who considered it indispensable.
Described as pre-loaded sponges with scrubbing power, ‘Scrub Singles’ came pre-moistened. They contained the same tough formula of bleach and detergent found in the company’s original all-purpose cleaner. Consumers would simply pop out a single scrub pad from its plastic container, use it for whatever job was needed around the house, then toss it away once they were finished.
The product first debuted in 2000 and quickly achieved widespread popularity. It offered users an effortless solution for tackling some of their dirtiest tasks — no longer did you have to lug out heavy buckets full of water and detergent just to clean a countertop or shower door. All you had to do was grab a single pad and go.
Unfortunately, the end has come for Clorox Scrub Singles …, but at least everyone got to enjoy them while they lasted!
