The Thermacell Patio Shield (TS) is a portable, cordless insect repellent device that utilizes a heating element and a fan to slowly release the repellent from its integrated cartridge. Simply place the TS on the table or hang it from the table umbrella. The repellent is odorless, non-greasy, and will not stain any material.
The Thermacell Patio Shield may be used with Thermacell’s insect repellents such as Mosquito Repellent (Thermacell). The repellent mats are 6 x 12 inches in size and contain 12 hours of repellent. To use the Thermacell Patio Shield, simply remove the protective cover from the back of the product and insert it into the front of the device. Do not touch either side of the device when inserting or removing the cartridge to avoid skin contact with the repellent.
Can you turn the Thermacell patio shield on and off?
You have complete control over the device’s on/off functionality. Please give Thermacell 10 to 15 minutes to reach its peak performance. A mat can be used as long as it doesn’t turn white.
How do I know if my Thermacell is working?
To see if your ThermaCELL is working, check the light at the top of it. When the device is turned on, the light turns on. The bottom of the old mat was a dark brown color, almost as if it had been burned.
Can you eat around Thermacell?

How long does a Thermacell take to charge?
Before the first use, the ThermaCELL Heated Insoles must be fully charged. Charge Insoles at room temperature for best results. Charging may take up to 4 hours. Each Insole has an ON/OFF switch and a recharge port at the back of the heel.
